Here's the headline number: capacity on every 700X journey goes from 49 to 97 passengers. That's almost twice as many seats on every single service - without any additional stand space needed at Dublin Airport.
What does that mean in practice?

More seats are the headline, but there are a few other things worth knowing:

Part of something bigger
Aircoach has been operating at Dublin Airport for over 27 years. This isn't a one-off announcement. It's part of a consistent pattern of reinvestment in the routes and passengers that matter most.
In 2025, Aircoach committed £3 million to a new luxury coach fleet on the 705X service, improving travel for passengers across Dublin, Belfast and Derry/L'Derry. The Dublin Airport Flyer follows in that same spirit: listening to what passengers need, then doing something about it.
There's also a broader point worth making. More passengers per journey means fewer private car trips to the airport. That's better for Dublin's roads, better for the environment and, frankly, better for everyone stuck in traffic on the M50.
