From 01.00am on 25th May our Cork city stop on Route 704X Dublin to/from Cork city will relocate from St. Patrick’s Quay to Lower Glanmire Road, Stop ID 11053.

New Stop in Cork City

This stop move is part of the MacCurtain Street Public Transport Improvement Scheme which aims to support economic activity and enhance access to Cork city centre through significantly improved options for walking, cycling and public transport. Under this scheme new traffic arrangements have been made on MacCurtain Street, the city quays and adjoining streets.

The new stop on Glanmire Road will have a bus shelter which was something our customers have been seeking for some time. There is also space available to provide set down spaces for those dropping or collecting which reduces the impact on traffic flow. This location also ensures that intercity bus services are as close as possible to the train station to improve the opportunity of modal interchange. This location is also only a short walk to the city centre.

Stop moves on 25 May at 01.00am.
